WALK PARKING

Parking will be at Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield. We strongly suggest you arrive at the Temple Israel parking lot by 10:30 am to ensure you don’t miss the opening ceremony. If you arrive between 11:15 am and 12:30 pm, you will need to park at the Jewish Community Center, 6600 West Maple Road (north side of the Berman Theater lot). If you arrive after 12:30, you may resume parking at Temple Israel.

The police will be closing off Walnut Lake road from 11:30 am - 12:15 pm. In order to access Temple Israel Parking, you must be in the Temple Israel Parking lot by 11:15 am. The police will not make any exceptions.

Wheelchair accessible parking: Wheelchair accessible parking is available at Temple Israel. There is a wheelchair equipped shuttle to opening ceremonies. Please let a staff member know that you need a wheelchair accessible bus. Valet golf-cart service is available from the Farber Center to Temple Israel for those who need it.

CONVENIENT SHUTTLES AVAILABLE

To the opening ceremony: Shuttles will transport participants from Temple Israel to the township hall starting at 9:30 am and will run regularly until 11:15 am.

From the opening ceremonies to the Farber Center: Fifteen minutes after the walk begins, supporters who prefer not to walk can take a shuttle directly to the Farber Center, where they can cheer on family and friends!

From the JCC parking lot to the Farber Center: Shuttles from the JCC will begin at 11:45 and will drop supporters off at the All Seasons complex, which is a short walk from the Farber Center. Shuttles will be available to return supporters to the JCC until 3:00 pm.

NOTE: As there will be no Temple Israel shuttle service after 11:15, those arriving later will need to walk to the Farber Center from the parking lot. Likewise, those leaving the event will need walk from the Farber Center to Temple Israel. Luckily it's only a 5 minute walk. Of course, and as mentioned above, there will be wheelchair accessible accommodations for those who need them.
