Hi Friends,

If you know my family, you probably know how much Friendship Circle means to us. My mom started working there way back in 1997 and spent almost two decades helping build the programs so many people love today. My dad was the Recovery Rabbi at Friendship House for nine years. I was born into the Friendship Circle family!

Now, I’m proud to be part of it in my own way. I’ve grown up going to programs like Efshar Circle and Sunday Circle, and they’ve shaped who I am. This summer I’ve been lucky enough to be at Friendship Circle’s overnight camp, spending my days swimming, boating, playing games, and being surrounded by friends who don't just feel like family, they ARE family.

That’s the thing about Friendship Circle. It’s not just about the programs. It’s about the people. It’s about showing up for each other. It’s about love and belonging and being celebrated for the unique individual that you are.

That’s why I’m setting out to raise $5400 for Walk4Friendship again this year. I’ve walked every year since I was a baby, and each year means more to me than the last. This year I’m walking in honor of two very special people, my parents. Their birthdays are in August, right around the time of the Walk, and it feels like the perfect time to celebrate them and everything they’ve done for this community.
